I love the holidays, but the chaos that comes with it can be overwhelming. At least we have a little break before Valentine's hits us.

I read an article that was a good reminder of the pitfalls of shopping online. A few of the main points were...

• Watch out for so called "free" or low-cost trials or samples that may require high shipping fees
• Be sure there is a posted privacy policy that guarantees the safety of your personal information
• When buying, have a look for an "s" after the http: in the Web site address. That means its secure and your credit card info is protected. As in https://
• Be sure to hang onto a copy of your order and confirmation number, in case you need later

Just being cautious is always a good idea.

I've always been into deals, and have just started looking into freebies.

Since this blog serves as a kind of journal, I thought I'd post some places to find freebies and freebie related offers online.

January savings

The new year has arrived and the January savings are to be found just about EVERYWHERE!

I like to check Amazon deals often, but there are so many more out there!
(Recently I found this site for checking amazon deals which saves me time.)
